Stunning Peak District location, Cozy traditional interiors, Charming outdoor dining experience

Check-in felt disorganized, making the arrival experience frustrating!!! Room lacked thorough cleaning, with noticeable cobwebs and dust in places!!! The bathroom could use proper maintenance, as it didn't meet expected cleanliness levels!!! Noise from the bar can disrupt a restful night!!! Limited parking availability on busy nights created unnecessary stress!!!

We had a lovely stay while exploring stunning walks in the countryside right on the doorstep. The food was fantastic and Dan's attention to detail made our time feel special, especially with a newborn baby. The inviting atmosphere made us feel right at home.

My wife says that it would be great if there were more family-friendly facilities, like a family room setup or play area for kids.

Loved the incredible fillet of beef for dinner and the cozy atmosphere. A nice treat with a Garmin GPS for our hike!

What a delightful stay! Our room was cozy and beautifully decorated, perfectly complementing the charming, historic ambiance of the inn. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring an impressive selection of fresh, local ingredients, setting us up perfectly for the day. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and were well taken care of. One area for improvement could be a slight expansion of the dinner menu to include more options.

We had an incredible time as a group of friends! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the local views were stunning. We enjoyed delicious meals at the pub, especially the hearty breakfast. Make sure to take a walk in the surrounding area. the staff even offer GPS devices for ease.

The room did show some signs of wear and tear. the carpet needed cleaning, and there was mould on the bathroom curtain, which was a bit off-putting.

Staying at the Old Hall Premium Double for two nights was delightful! The cozy vibe and excellent breakfast truly made my mornings. While the room could use some updating, the stunning Peak District location provided ample inspiration for my photography. I look forward to returning!

This cozy old coaching inn is a gorgeous escape! I was enchanted by the medieval décor and the warm, inviting atmosphere. Not to mention the stunning views of the Peak District right outside my window—truly a nature lover’s paradise!

We had an amazing stay in a cozy two-bedroom house with a warm fire and great local walks right at our doorstep. I loved the magical vibe of the room with its unique touches.

The room was cozy and spacious for two, with a fab breakfast featuring excellent sausage and bacon. Plus, we stumbled upon the Papermill nearby, serving some amazing pizzas and even met a chef from the Old Hall!
